An artist is in constant mutation, permanent evolution.
Here is a selection of works from different times and series.
Emojis are the fastest growing language in the world and no one can claim they own it ! That fascinates me. Way back in the fifties the Swedish instructor Ingmar Bergman drew a smiley on a fogged mirror. And today emojis makes communication possible crossing every language barrier.
I really like cities and love to run my bike on asphalt. Thanks to all workers who made that possible. The first piece I did was “ Streetart” in 2012 . A 6 meter long road in asphalt with porcelain flowers as solid lines. Presented in KP 2012
These small handmade and unique nests made of porcelain are actually my signature in Art Craft. They create a very pleasant and meditative atmosphere like small globes. Place them outside as well with a little sand or small stone in the bottom to keep them on the ground. They are very thin and transparent and yet very strong. Pure boiling water over them to keep clean from steering.
Art Craft and handmade one by one. Put wild flowers, herbs, roses in them. The vases embrace your flowers in a very personal and unique way.
I am working on making porcelain look like something dancing or growing in the ocean. Also trying to get it together in a zinkframe and on the wall. I am very exited about this process. It has taken years to learn the process in porcelain to make it look untouched and fragile and still very strong. Looking forward to present a whole serie.
These cylinders are stoneware and burned very high like porcelain. They look heavy, but are actually lightweight. All unique and handmade with my fingerprints on them and yet some industrial look as well.
I have made a serie of sculpture lumps. Almost like small opening you can look thru into a world of caves and entries. I find reflecting moments looking into the lumps.
This piece is actually the only piece I have made not being an abstract form. I wanted the dog to be part of an installation, where the dog should stand on a lot of small porcelain flowers outside A Working Gallery on the harbor ……shitting. But in the same weekend I builded the dog, my life changed completely because I was confronted with a divorce. Now 4 years later I choose to gild the shitting part and salute the life change . The dog is therefore not for sale.
These cylinders are stoneware. They look heavy, but are actually lightweight. All unique and handmade with my fingerprints on them and yet some industrial look as well. I made these cylinders to be presented in the flagshop of Fredericia 1911, Copenhagen.
Also A One Off Sculpture in stoneware, a little bit looking a little bit alive, you choose
A One Off Sculpture in stoneware, looking a little like a broken weapon, maybe a ceramic ceasefire. You choose….
My sculptures can often lay down which gives a very different experience for the viewer
Sometimes ceramic sculptures just comes two at a time.
